I’m not really a fan of biryani from restaurants, but this is pretty good. Loved the spice and masala level, was perfect they also give a good amount of chicken pieces and don’t cheap out, and the portion is great! The interior is also very cute with the wall decor. The staff was lovely, will definitely be coming here again. For those comments complaining that it was too spicy, it’s literally Pakistani biryani... thats like going to Thai and complaining about the spice and going to Italian and complaining about how bland it is.
Dera is incredibly amazing! I love their beef biryani, I tried it a third time today and decided to have it at the resturant. Omg! It was piping hot, same taste as what I have tried in usual Karachi biryani - fine it was Sunday haha but still what an amazing job these guys are doing. I am definitely visiting again next week!!!
Halal* i have been to this place few times either they ran out of biryani or were closed. Yesterday i was lucky to catch my biryani box for the first time. First lemme tell u always call ahead and reserve your biryani.I loved the chicken biryani i tried i have been to many places but this place tops it. Especially the freshness taste and alot of masala. Must try. Currently they have only biryani different types.

I got the fresh batch of chicken biryani. The chicken pieces were so well cooked that it came off so easily. Spicy level was perfect.
Bryani was good and the girl on the reception was extremely helpful. They can also add alo in biryani upon request at the time of ordering.
I pre-ordered a day before both chicken and veal biryani. Moment I entered in to the store, the typical biryani aroma was mind blowing and taste truly justified the hype, must try.
Called to order the chicken biryani (approx 3 hours before I wanted to pick up) and I was glad to be able to try it. The taste of the biryani was flavourful and really good. The chicken was well cooked. I was surprised as I thought it'd be too spicy for me to handle, but they actually had just the right amount of spice which was bearable. I really enjoyed the meal despite finding it a bit oily and despite not liking that they added achar in the meal itself (personally I would prefer if they just gave it on the side). Portion is generous and it was good to share (I found it a lot for one person). Got my order pretty quick and it was served hot. Overall, I would recommend this place as I found their chicken biryani to be unlike other Pakistani restaurants I've tried.
Delicious biryani, I just love it... So, guys..., if you wanna eat biryani..., DERA is the best place ever.
